The Fluvanna Heritage Trail Foundation, celebrating the county’s natural and historical heritage, will again award cash prizes, and invites artists of all ages from Fluvanna and surrounding counties to enter this annual art exhibit. Joan Soderlund will serve as juror for the show. She is a graduate St. Mary’s of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. She is currently a resident artist and teacher at The McGuffey Center. Soderlund has received numerous prestigious awards and prizes. Many of her works are in private and business collections. The show is an opportunity for local artists to have their works on exhibit for the Old Farm Day visitors. After Old Farm Day, the art will be displayed at the Fluvanna County Community Center on Route 15 in Fork Union for the rest of October.
